Abstract

The value of exports originating from West Sumatra in May 2024 amounted to US $ 101.39 million, a decrease of 39.65 percent compared to April 2024 exports.

The most exported categories of goods in May 2024 were animal/vegetable fats & oils (HS 15) at US$69.76 million, followed by rubber and rubber goods (HS 40) at US$9.90 million, and vegetable materials (HS 14) at US$7.37 million.
The import value of West Sumatra in May 2024 amounted to US$34.00 million, a decrease of 12.62 percent compared to April 2024 imports.
Categories of imported goods The largest category of imported goods in May 2024 was mineral fuels (HS 27) amounting to US$24.41 million.
