Abstract

The value of exports originating from West Sumatra in September 2024 amounted to US$135.59 million, a decrease of 43.72 percent compared to exports in August 2024.

The most exported group of goods in September 2024 was the animal/vegetable fats & oils group (HS 15) amounting to US$93.81 million, followed by the rubber and rubber goods group (HS 40) amounting to US$11.64 million, and the various chemical products group (HS 38) amounting to US$8.13 million.
The import value of West Sumatra in September 2024 amounted to US$41.36 million, a decrease of 5.07 percent compared to August 2024 imports.
The largest group of imported goods in September 2024 was mineral fuel (HS 27) amounting to US$27.07 million.
