Abstract

The value of exports originating from West Sumatra in March 2024 amounted to US$170.11 million, an increase of 6.70 percent compared to exports in February 2024.
The most exported categories of goods in February 2024 were animal/vegetable fats & oils (HS 15) at US$129.67 million, followed by vegetable materials (HS 14) at US$7.42 million, and various chemical products (HS 38) at US$6.44 million.
The import value of West Sumatra in March 2024 amounted to US$ 41.46 million, a decrease of 26.01 percent compared to imports in February 2024.
The largest category of imported goods in March 2024 was mineral fuel (HS 27) amounting to US$27.46 million.
