Abstract

The export value originating from West Sumatra in May 2023 was US$157.05 million, a decrease of 0.47 percent compared to April 2023 exports.

The most exported group of goods in May 2023 was the animal/vegetable fats & oils (HS 15) group of US$125.77 million, followed by the rubber and rubber goods group (HS 40) of US$8.04 million, and the Sari Materials group. Tan & Dip (HS 32) of US$4.91 million.
West Sumatra's import value in May 2023 was US$28.12 million, a decrease of 39.13 percent compared to April 2023 imports.
The largest group of imported goods in May 2023 was mineral fuel (HS 27) of US$20.32 million.
