Abstract

West Sumatra's NTP in February 2024 amounted to 117.71 or increased by 1.05 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 2.20 percent and the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 1.14 percent.

The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) of West Sumatra in February 2024 amounted to 118.38 or increased by 2.02 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
In February 2024 the NTP for each subsector was recorded at 105.96 for the food crop subsector (NTPP), 121.34 for the horticulture subsector (NTPH), 134.89 for the smallholder plantation crop subsector (NTPR), 106.43 for the livestock subsector (NTPT), and 92.52 for the fisheries subsector (NTPN). The fisheries subsector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture subsectors with NTP of 96.87 and 89.22 respectively.
