Abstract

West Sumatra's NTP in November 2023 amounted to 113.32 or increased by 1.53 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 2.96 percent, and the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 1.41 percent.

The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) of West Sumatra in November 2023 amounted to 113.34 or increased by 2.81 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
In November 2023 the NTP for each subsector was recorded at 104.61 for the food crop subsector (NTPP), 109.93 for the horticulture subsector (NTPH), 127.96 for the smallholder plantation crop subsector (NTPR), 106.54 for the livestock subsector (NTPT), and 93.94 for the fisheries subsector (NTPN). The fisheries subsector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture subsectors with NTP of 98.20 and 90.70 respectively.
