Abstract

West Sumatra's NTP in July 2024 amounted to 123.72 or decreased by 1.28 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The decrease in NTP was due to a decrease in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which decreased by 2.24 percent and the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) which decreased by 0.96 percent.

The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) of West Sumatra in July 2024 amounted to 126.31 or decreased by 2.19 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
In July 2024 the NTP for each subsector was recorded at 101.16 for the food crop subsector (NTPP), 121.47 for the horticulture subsector (NTPH), 157.67 for the smallholder plantation crop subsector (NTPR), 108.48 for the livestock subsector (NTPT), and 91.85 for the fisheries subsector (NTPN).
