Abstract

The value of exports originating from West Sumatra in December 2023 amounted to US$163.35 million, a decrease of 29.91 percent compared to exports in November 2023.

The most exported categories of goods in December 2023 were animal/vegetable fats & oils (HS 15) at US$128.50 million, followed by various rubber products and rubber goods (HS 40) at US$11.36 million, and vegetable materials (HS 14) at US$7.05 million.
The import value of West Sumatra in December 2023 amounted to US$30.64 million, a decrease of 19.38 percent compared to imports in November 2023.
The largest category of imported goods in December 2023 was mineral fuel (HS 27) amounting to US$18.57 million.
