Abstract

The value of exports originating from West Sumatra in October 2023 amounted to US $ 193.53 million, an increase of 4.07 percent compared to exports in September 2023.

The most exported categories of goods in October 2023 were animal/vegetable fats & oils (HS 15) at US$153.02 million, followed by various chemical products (HS 38) at US$8.12 million, and vegetable materials (HS 14) at US$6.87 million.
The import value of West Sumatra in October 2023 amounted to US$43.11 million, an increase of 132.45 percent compared to September 2023 imports.
The largest category of imported goods in October 2023 was mineral fuel (HS 27) amounting to US$34.26 million.
