Abstract

West Sumatra's NTP in January 2024 amounted to 116.49 or increased 0.98 percent compared to the previous month's NTP.

The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) rose by 0.89 percent, and the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.09 percent.
The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) of West Sumatra in January 2024 amounted to 116.04 or increased by 0.72 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
In January 2024 the NTP for each subsector was recorded at 105.42 for the food crop subsector (NTPP), 115.70 for the horticulture subsector (NTPH), 134.02 for the smallholder plantation crop subsector (NTPR), 106.36 for the livestock subsector (NTPT), and 93.88 for the fisheries subsector (NTPN). The fisheries subsector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture subsectors with NTP of 98.26 and 90.57 respectively.
