West Sumatra's Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in June 2024 was recorded at 125.33 and the Price of Harvested Dry Grain at the Farmer Level fell by 5.09 percent.

Abstract

West Sumatra's NTP in June 2024 amounted to 125.33 or increased by 1.30 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 1.63 percent and the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.33 percent.

The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) of West Sumatra in May 2024 amounted to 126.99 or increased by 2.27 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
In June 2024, the NTP of each subsector was recorded at 103.96 for the food crop subsector (NTPP), 133.90 for the horticulture subsector (NTPH), 149.34 for the smallholder plantation crop subsector (NTPR), 110.55 for the livestock subsector (NTPT), and 92.01 for the fisheries subsector (NTPN). The fisheries subsector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture subsectors with NTP of 93.73 and 90.70 respectively.
