The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of West Sumatra in October 2023 was recorded at 111.62 and the Price of Harvested Dry Grain at the Farmer Level increased by 7.47 percent.

Abstract

West Sumatra's NTP in October 2023 amounted to 111.62 or increased by 0.71 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which rose by 0.71 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.003 percent.

The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) of West Sumatra in October 2023 amounted to 110.24 or increased by 0.29 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
In October 2023, the average price of GKP quality grain at the farm level increased by 7.47 percent from Rp6,876.36 per kg (September 2023) to Rp7,390.02 per kg (October 2023).
