Abstract

In December 2023, year on year and year to date inflation in Padang City was 2.55 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 117.62 and Bukittinggi City was 1.88 percent with a CPI of 117.65. Aggregately, the combined inflation of the 2 cities was 2.47 percent with a CPI of 117.55.

In December 2023, month to month (m-to-m) inflation in Padang City was 0.34 percent and in Bukittinggi City there was deflation of 0.14 percent. In aggregate, the combined m-to-m inflation of the 2 cities was recorded at 0.28 percent.
