Abstract

In August 2022, West Sumatra experienced a deflation of 0.95 percent or a decline in the CPI from 113.72 in July 2022 to 112.64 in August 2022.

The inflation rate for the calendar year or August 2022 against December 2021 was 5.48 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate or August 2022 against August 2021 in West Sumatra was recorded at 7.11 percent.
