Abstract

In September 2023, month to month (m-to-m) inflation occurred in Padang City by 0.07 percent and in Bukittinggi City by 0.66 percent. In aggregate, the combined m-to-m inflation of the 2 cities was recorded at 0.05 percent.

In September 2023, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Padang City was 1.93 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 116.38 and Bukittinggi City was 2.10 percent with a CPI of 116.85. In aggregate, year on year inflation for the two cities combined was 1.94 percent with a CPI of 116.43.
Until September 2023, on a year to date (y-to-d) basis, the inflation rate in Padang City was 1.46 percent and the inflation rate in Bukittinggi City was 1.73 percent. In aggregate, the combined y-to-d inflation of the 2 cities was recorded at 1.49 percent.
