Abstract

In August 2023, Month to Month (m-to-m) inflation occurred in Padang City by 0.07 percent and in Bukittinggi City there was deflation of 0.09 percent. In aggregate, the combined 2 cities recorded m-to-m inflation of 0.05 percent.

In August 2023, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Padang City was 3.22 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 116.30 and Bukittinggi City was 3.32 percent with a CPI of 116.08. In aggregate, Year on Year inflation for the combined 2 cities was 3.23 percent with a CPI of 116.28.
