Abstract

In March 2023, on a Month to Month (m-to-m) basis, there was deflation in the City of Padang of 0.10 percent and in the City of Bukittinggi there was a deflation of 0.03 percent. In aggregate, the 2 Cities' combined m-to-m deflation was recorded at 0.09 percent.

In March 2023, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation for the City of Padang was 5.94 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 115.26 and the City of Bukittinggi was 6.08 percent with a CPI of 115.38. In aggregate, the year on year inflation of the 2 cities combined was 5.97 percent with a CPI of 115.28.
As of March 2023, on a Year to Date (y-to-d) inflation rate for the City of Padang was 0.49 percent and the City of Bukittinggi had inflation of 0.45 percent. In aggregate, y-to-d inflation for the 2 cities combined was recorded at 0.49 percent
