Abstract

The value of exports originating from West Sumatra in October 2024 amounted to US$243.82 million, an increase of 79.83 percent compared to exports in September 2024.

The most exported categories of goods in October 2024 were animal/vegetable fats & oils (HS 15) amounting to US$197.02 million, followed by rubber and rubber goods (HS 40) amounting to US$11.52 million, and various chemical products (HS 38) amounting to US$8.67 million.

The import value of West Sumatra in October 2024 amounted to US$44.23 million, an increase of 6.93 percent compared to September 2024 imports.

The largest group of imported goods in October 2024 was mineral fuels (HS 27) amounting to US$25.86 million.
