Abstract

    The value of exports originating from West Sumatra in July 2024 was US$146.55 million, a decrease of 48.43 per cent compared to exports in June 2024. 
  • The most exported group of goods in July 2024 was the animal/vegetable fats & oils group (HS 15) amounting to US$111.42 million, followed by the vegetable materials group (HS 14) amounting to US$7.71 million, and the tanned & dyed sari group (HS 32) amounting to US$6.06 million. 
  • West Sumatra's import value in July 2024 was US$47.15 million, an increase of 70.73 per cent compared to June 2024 imports. 
  • The largest category of imported goods in July 2024 was mineral fuels (HS 27) amounting to US$29.75 million.
