Abstract

    The value of exports originating from West Sumatra in January 2024 amounted to US$133.80 million, a decrease of 18.09 percent compared to exports in December 2023.
  • The most exported categories of goods in January 2024 were animal/vegetable fats & oils (HS 15) amounting to US$100.01 million, followed by various rubber products and rubber goods (HS 40) amounting to US$8.87 million, and tanned and dyed substances (HS 32) amounting to US$5.24 million.
  • The import value of West Sumatra in January 2024 amounted to US$37.04 million, an increase of 20.87 percent compared to imports in December 2023.
  • The largest category of imported goods in January 2024 was mineral fuel (HS 27) amounting to US$30.54 million.
