Abstract

In July 2023 foreign tourist arrivals to West Sumatra through the Minangkabau International Airport entrance were 4,946 visits, a decrease of 5.36 percent compared to the previous month.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in West Sumatra in July 2023 was 56.27 percent, a decrease of 1.69 points compared to the previous month's TPK. The TPK of non-starred hotels in West Sumatra in July 2023 was 21.11 percent, up 0.05 points compared to the previous month's TPK.
The average length of stay of guests in star hotels in July 2023 was recorded at 1.71 days, up 0.25 days compared to the previous month.
