Abstract

In April 2023, on a Month to Month (m-to-m) basis, there was deflation in the City of Padang by 0.03 percent and in the City of Bukittinggi, there was inflation of 0.06 percent. In aggregate, the 2 cities combined experienced a m-to-m deflation of 0.03 percent.

In April 2023, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation for the City of Padang was 5.28 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 115.23 and the City of Bukittinggi was 4.98 percent with a CPI of 115.45. In aggregate, the year on year inflation of the 2 cities combined was 5.24 percent with a CPI of 115.25.
As of April 2023, on a Year to Date (y-to-d) inflation rate for the City of Padang was 0.46 percent and the inflation rate for the City of Bukittinggi was 0.51 percent. In aggregate, y-to-d inflation for the 2 Cities was recorded at 0.46 percent.
