SUSENAS and SERUTI Officer Training March 2025

The Central Bureau of Statistics of Lima Puluh Kota Regency has again carried out the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) and the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti). In 2025 Susenas and Seruti experienced adjustments to the implementation schedule. The survey, which is usually conducted in March, was advanced to February to keep the community's consumption patterns reasonable as usual. This year's Ramadhan falls on March 1 and during Ramadhan the consumption pattern of the community will usually be different from other months.

Prior to the implementation of Susenas and Seruti in the field, BPS Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota conducted training for data collection officers and examination officers to maintain the quality of the data produced. The Susenas March and Seruti Quarter I 2025 Officer Training was conducted in two batches. The training was conducted in a hybrid manner, a combination of online and offline training. Online training was conducted once for three days on January 17, 20 and 21, 2025. The first wave of offline training was held on January 22, 2025 at Monopoli Hotel, Bukitinggi. The second wave of offline training was held on January 23-24, 2025 at the same hotel.

The training activities were opened directly by the Head of BPS Lima Puluh Kota Regency, Mr. Yudi Yos Elvin, S.Si., M.Si. On this occasion he emphasized the importance of guaranteeing the data produced by Susenas and Seruti, considering that so many BPS indicators and publications are sourced from Susenas and Seruti.
