Abstract

    In August 2024 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in West Sumatra Province of 2.22 per cent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.59. 
  • The highest inflation occurred in Dharmasraya Regency by 3.45 percent with a CPI of 107.21 and the lowest occurred in Padang City by 1.98 percent with a CPI of 106.47. 
  • On a month to month (m-to-m) basis, West Sumatra Province in August 2024 experienced deflation of 0.16 percent. 
  • Until August 2024, year to date (y-to-d) inflation in West Sumatra Province was 0.59 percent.
