Abstract

The number of West Sumatra's labor force in August 2023 was 3.02 million people, an increase of 156.16 thousand people compared to August 2022.

West Sumatra's Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) in August 2023 was 69.61 percent, an increase of 0.31 percentage points compared to August 2022.
West Sumatra's Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in August 2023 was 5.94 percent, down 0.34 percentage points compared to August 2022.
